We have many different spaces to accommodate conferences large and small. In addition to offering a variety of versatile spaces, we also can assist with your equipment, catering, and accommodation needs.
Conference Spaces in the SUB:
- Down Under: The Down Under, located on the lower level of the building has been used in the past for events such as dances, small theatre performances, lectures, and more. A built-in stage and technology booth with special lighting and sound capabilities is available.
- Alumni Room: The Alumni Room is a medium sized room on the main level of the SUB often used for small meetings, banquets, or lectures. It also has built-in technology for presentations or lectures.
- Georgian Rooms: The Georgian Rooms can be combined into one large room or split into three smaller spaces. The Georgian Combo can easily accommodate a banquet dinner for 300 or a lecture for 400. Each room has a built-in projector screen and sound system, making them ideal for presentations. The combined rooms are also popular for receptions, guest lecturers, served or buffet meals, and other large scale events.
Rooms in the SUB can be equipped with technological support including projectors, screens, and sound systems based on your needs. Wireless internet access can be granted if requested in advance.
